This Second Stage / Outer Engine Air Filter for the Cummins Engine in the 425 CFM Rotair/Elgi Compressor acts as the second stage of filtration for your compressor's engine. As air flows through, it is filtered in two stages to ensure it remains clean and free of contaminants.
The 2nd Stage Engine Air Filter should be replaced every 500 hours of use and checked every 100 hours for optimal performance. Depending on your compressor's operating environment, it may need to be inspected more frequently, even daily.
Like the 1st Stage Engine Air Filter, this filter can be cleaned multiple times with compressed air, but never with water.
The 2nd Stage Engine Air Filter works in tandem with the 1st Stage Engine Air Filter, capturing smaller particles to ensure your compressor runs smoothly and efficiently.
