This high-quality air filter is designed to fit 425CFM compressors and serves as the second stage of filtration for your compressor's engine. As air flows through your compressor, it's filtered by two stages of filters to ensure that the air is clean and free of contaminants.
The 2nd Stage Engine Air Filter should be replaced every 500 hours of use and should be checked every 100 hours to ensure proper function. Depending on the environment in which your compressor operates, it may need to be checked more frequently, up to daily.
Like the 1st Stage Engine Air Filter, this filter can be cleaned several times with compressed air, but never with water.
The 2nd Stage Engine Air Filter is designed to work in conjunction with the 1st Stage Engine Air Filter to provide optimal filtration for your compressor's engine. While the 1st stage filter captures larger particles, this 2nd stage filter captures smaller particles to ensure that your compressor is running smoothly and efficiently.
